We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone for Norfolk Homes Ltd – the successful acquisition of a key parcel of land to the West of the existing A140 in Long Stratton. This land, a crucial part of the expansive Long Stratton project, has been a joint endeavour of Norfolk Homes Ltd and Norfolk Land Ltd since 2014.
With planning permission granted in September of last year, we are now set to embark on the next phase of our journey. The site is approved for 600 open-market and affordable homes, with 213 of them already having detailed consent, and work will commence imminently to deliver the much-needed housing and infrastructure.
The homes will be delivered along with associated open space and a new relief road that will ultimately connect Swan Lane, the roundabout currently under construction and the Long Stratton bypass.
The wider Long Stratton project, which totals 1,875 homes, will also deliver a new school, sports pitches, community facilities, extensive open space areas for walking and cycling, and new commercial/business opportunities.
